Office Teammate
Duties and Responsibilities
Complete agency training or provide proof of experience in the provision of home-care tasks.
Pass a home-care competency evaluation.
Attend periodic educational sessions (normally 6 sessions per year).
Participate in care coordination conferences, staff meetings, and agency committee meetings.
Perform other related functions as needed.
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of job performance.
Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. themes
Each program consists of its own weekly theme, so that your child has something new to anticipate with each coming week.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Possesses a high school diploma or GED.
Able to communicate and understand communication effectively in exchanges between the client, family representatives, and other providers;
Successful completion of a written competency exam related to the agency Personal Home Care Worker training course.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Microsoft Office Suite; written and verbal communication skills; listening skills; interpersonal skills; customer service skills; reasoning and problem-solving skills; ability to work with minimum supervision; telephone skills; ability to perform multiple concurrent tasks in an organized manner.
Conscientious, observant, and proactive. We want you to carefully document and report any changes in the client’s health.
Ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing.
Easily establishes rapport with managers, clients, families, and colleagues.
Special Requirements
Valid, current state driver's license and access to a reliable automobile or reliable public transportation.
Physical Effort: Sedentary Work: Lifting up to 30 pounds occasionally; ability to climb stairs and independently access all customer homes; occasional driving.
Working Conditions: Office environment, occasional travel; customer homes; possible exposure to bodily fluids; daily customer communication; occasional inclement weather.
